The Roaming Rascals is a family adventure travel community for parents who travel slowly and take their kids with them. Swap tips, find your next family trip, and roam the world together with people who actually get travelling with children.

Members share what they've actually learned: which airlines are decent about car seats, how to pace a hike with a five-year-old, where to stay when a toddler naps at two in the afternoon. Questions get answered by parents who have already done the thing you're about to attempt.

What members get

• Hosted group trips. Small-group family departures organised and led by us, with other families along for the ride. Deposits secure a place; the balance is due eight weeks before departure.
• A community feed. Ask the room a question and get answers from parents who have already done the thing you're about to attempt.
• Travel resources. Downloadable packing lists, itineraries and planning guides, available individually or unlimited on Premium.
• Member perks. Discounts and offers negotiated for families in the club.
• A members directory. Opt in to find and message other travelling families, including ones near where you're headed.
• Pen Pals. An admin-reviewed, opt-in programme that matches children with a pen pal in another member family abroad. Both families approve every match before it goes ahead.

Joining

A free account gives you full community and feed access, with resources and trips available to buy individually. Premium is £9.99 a month or £100 a year and adds unlimited resource downloads, 5% off hosted trips with priority access, member-only live calls and shop items. You can start free and upgrade later, and cancel anytime from your billing settings.
